  Family Activities at Poble Espanyol

  A large area, totally free of traffic, with different places to explore, most of them in the open air. That's the Poble Espanyol de Barcelona, an iconic visitor attraction in the heart of Montjuïc.   Family activities and concerts at the Palau

  It is now 15 years since the Palau de la Música Catalana introduced its Cycle of Family Concerts at the Palau, an initiative whose goal is to kindle the passion for and appreciation of music to the youngest members of the household. These are shows conceived and created so that music interacts with other forms of artistic expression such as dance, theater, poetry or the plastic arts, aimed at encouraging the curiosity, imagination and creativity of young and old alike.

  29th Science Week

  The Science Week is dedicated to the dissemination of science throughout Catalonia. Several spaces in the city and the region host a unique program including guided visits, exhibitions, workshops, and lectures. This year's edition will focus on the life and work of Oriol de Bolòs and Bette Nesmith Graham, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth; and the figures of William Thomson, Jean Valentine, Edwin Hubble, and many more.

  A stroll through Barcelona's Gothic Quarter brings to light the early Roman city of Barcino and the medieval town with its palazzos, mansions and Gothic churches.
