The BCN Sports Film Festival takes place in Barcelona from 23 February to 3 March 2026, establishing itself as a cultural event celebrating the best cinema linked to sport and its values. Organised by the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica, this 16th edition features an international selection of films — documentaries, fiction and short films — exploring themes such as overcoming challenges, adventure, inclusion, and the relationship between sport, society and culture. Screenings are held at various venues across the city, including the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch, Cinemes Girona and INEFC Barcelona, as well as local civic centres. In addition to public screenings, the festival also offers educational activities and talks with filmmakers and industry professionals.

10 districts, 34 venues, five disciplines. The Barcelona Cultural District is a circuit of professional performances but also a program of artistic community project creation. Culture is brought to your doorstep but citizens themselves can also become active cultural agents. Music, theater, dance, circus and audiovisual displays by a wide variety of artists (professionals and amateurs alike) invade city spaces.
